Technology, entrepreneurship and funding will take center stage at the annual TiECon from the TiE Tampa organization.

The all-day event will kick off at 8:45 a.m. on Feb. 16 with Sara Hand, the CEO of Spark Growth.

Suhas Apte and Raj Rajendran, president and executive director respectively, will also address the crowd before the event goes full into panels and fireside chats.

The first fireside will be with Steve Raymund, former CEO for Tech Data and current independent director at Jabil and ConnectWise. He will be speaking with Alex Sink, the former state of Florida CFO and current chair for the Tampa Bay Wave.

Other speakers include Steve MacDonald, who founded and successfully exited myMatrixx, Michael J. Coles, founder and successful exiter of Great American Cookies and Suneera Madhani, founder and CEO of Fattmerchant.

There will also be a panel on women’s entrepreneurship and a pitch competition where participants will be judged with a winner chosen.

The award ceremony and closing remarks will be made at 5 p.m. by Tampa philanthropist Dr. Kiran Patel and TiE President Suhas Apte.
